''Vite de' pittori, scultori e architetti bergamaschi.'' Bergamo, 1793.〕 His account of contemporaries was often enlivened by first-hand knowledge, for example with Tiepolo and Zuccarelli, who at times visited Tassi's home villa of Tasso, called Celadina, in Bergamo.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.lombardiabeniculturali.it/opere-arte/schede/3y010-00051/ )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.villadeitasso.it/ )〕 Tassi also edited a compilation of writings by Benvenuto Cellini which appeared in print in 1829.〔Cellini, Benevenuto. Tassi, Francesco Maria; ed. ''Vita di Benvenuto Cellini: orefice e scultore fiorentino.'' G. Piatti. Florence, 1829.
